Library Technology Collaborative Mission

With the mission to broaden the understanding of and to promote the usage of electronic resources available to academic libraries, the goal of the Library Technology Collaborative is to encourage the utilization of e-resources within academic programs and research initiatives. Through facilitating collaboration between educators, researchers, students and library patrons by means of technology-based communication, the Collaborative will uphold and advocate the prominent role of technological resources used to promote the advancement of implementation, integration and diffusion of quality electronic resources available from academic libraries.

This campaign is designed to be utilized as a tool for the betterment of both the academic library and publisher communities, in effort to support global economic growth and enhance innovative thinking.

2010 Library Technology Excellence Award
The Library Technology Excellence Award is a special recognition given annually to an individual (or group) whose commendable effort and exemplary commitment to the utilization and understanding of technological resources within the academic and research communities has proven fundamental to the advancement of their respective community, society, and/or institution.
