Wei Zhao

Wei Zhao, PhD in Translation Studies from Shandong University (Jinan), is currently an associate professor at the School of Translation Studies, Shandong University (Weihai), China. Her research interests include translation history and translation teaching. She is the author of over 15 research papers in 3 areas of translation studies: contrastive study of Chinese and Western translation theories, interpretation of traditional Chinese translation theories, and MTI programs in China. Her translations include A Very Lonely Planet (2008), The Silver Bough (2007), and Years in Treating Treasures: Bank Museum Boutique Appreciations (2013).
