Authored book

Authored books include illustrative chapters delving into discrete and emerging research in niche areas, models, methodologies and concepts. The development duration of an Authored Book takes approximately 10-12 months in total from proposal acceptance to final manuscript. These books include 12+ chapters on average with each chapter reaching a total word of 10,000 to 14,000 words. Authored books provide a unique opportunity for specific subject analysis and in-depth development of your discipline.


Edited book

Edited books include highly-descriptive chapters detailing progressive research in a range of topics and concepts. The development duration of an Edited Book takes approximately 10-12 months in total from proposal acceptance to final manuscript. These books include 15-25 chapters and a total word count of approximately 135,000+ words. Books of this length allow for a thorough description of specific aspects of your discipline. Each chapter is submitted to a double blind peer-review process through an editorial advisory board created for the development of the publication. Editing a book offers the ability to network with peers and colleagues for the success of your specialty and your endeavors.


Case book

Editing a Case book provides a unique opportunity for research to take the shape of experience, implementation and application. The impact of technology in a particular setting is described, analyzed and synthesized for the objective of offering solutions for successful strategies, addressing organizational challenges and pitfalls experienced during a real-life event of the implementation of a technological application or specific function. Case books generally contain 15+ teaching case chapters and a total of 135,000+ words. Case Books are marketed to academicians and international libraries for direct course usage and are regarded as instructional tools.


Handbook of Research

A Handbook of Research is a larger collection of concise and focused information, providing a comprehensive assessment on inclusive topics. This type of publication includes a total of 35+ chapters at 7,000-11,000 words each. IGI Global Handbooks of Research offer a sound and complete reference source for all audiences through the presentation of relating research methodologies that thoroughly describe the discipline of focus, as well as pertinent key terms and definitions.


Encyclopedia

An Encyclopedia is the largest project, consisting of expansive coverage of research and knowledge in your discipline. The number of submissions reaches as many as 125 manuscripts, varying in coverage and length of approximately 3,000-7,000 words. These submissions will also include a list of key terms and definitions.


Journal

Each of IGI Global’s journals is structured to provide a platform for innovative research, new concepts and novel developments in disciplines of Information Science & Technology, Medical Informatics, Business Science and Engineering Science. Journals are supported by the Information Resources Management Association (www.irma-international.org) and are published quarterly or semi-annually. IGI Global journals are indexed in many of the top international indices.
