Description

The Advances in Chemoinformatics and Computational Methods (ACCM) Book Series is a cross disciplinary international book series that publishes cutting edge and long ranging research in the area of Chemoinformatics. Chemoinformatics is a scientific area that endeavours to study and solve complex chemical problems using computational techniques and methods. It is a rapidly growing field due to recent advances in high throughput screening technologies and development of sophisticated computational, mathematical and statistical methodologies. Chemoinformatics may be defines as: Storage, analysis and drawing inferences from chemical information (obtained from chemical data) using computational methods.

Problems in Chemoinformatics range from structure elucidation to drug design. Experts from diverse fields including Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science are showing great interest to develop computational and mathematical tools to solving challenging chemical problems. The purpose and objective of the ACCM is to present original and long ranging research in the area of Chemoinformatics that has achieved position of prominence. It is aimed to foster new collaborations between chemists, mathematicians, statisticians and computer scientists and to offer a wealth of knowledge and useful tools to academicians, practitioners and professionals through the availability of high quality publications.
