Editor/Author Biographies
Maha Bouzid is currently a Senior Research Associate at the Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. Her broad research interests are emerging infectious diseases and Global Health. Her primary interests are the epidemiology and pathogenesis of waterborne and vector-borne diseases. She has a Master’s in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and a PhD in Medical Microbiology awarded from the University of East Anglia, investigating mechanisms of virulence in Cryptosporidium species using genomic data. Her research interests have recently expanded to the field of climate change and human health as well as evidence based decision making in the public health sector.
