– San Murugesan, Multimedia University, Malaysia & University of Western Sydney, Australia

The Handbook of Research on Web 2.0, 3.0, and X.0: Technologies, Business, and Social Applications provides a collection of research spanning the realm of next generation Web technologies, from conceptual design to social web and security. Creative research ideas and methodologies adopted in various chapters provide valuable insights for advanced research in this emerging field. This book is an excellent reference for those academicians, researchers, and professionals seeking to explore the issues and latest trends pertaining to Web technologies.

– In Lee, Editor-in-Chief, International Journal of E-Business Research (IJEBR); Western Illinois University, USA

If there ever was a time to focus aggressively on Web 2.0, 3.0 and X.0 technologies and applications, this is it. The Web is becoming the preferred transaction – as well as the preferred social platform. Understanding how to define, optimize and assess these technologies and the processes they support is essential to the large business technology optimization agenda. The Handbook of Research on Web 2.0, 3.0, and X.0: Technologies, Business, and Social Applications offers the only comprehensive sourcebook in the area. The Handbook will inevitably become a reference source for the entire field.

– Stephen J. Andriole, Thomas G. Labrecque Professor of Business Technology, The Villanova School of Business, Villanova University, USA; Partner, the Acentio Group

Covering all major aspects of the emerging Web Science in a single book would be considered impossible owing to extensive, diverse concurrent developments. This is definitely the only book that I know which has come close to achieving this feat. This book will serve as an authoritative guide and excellent platform for comprehensively addressing new generation Web technologies and applications. I am happy to recommend this book to anyone interesting in this area.

– Narayanan Kulathuramaiyer, Professor of Computer Science, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia

This handbook is a judicious combination of excellence in research together with practical discussions. The editor has gone to great lengths to seek, edit, sequence and publish the chapters contained herein. A 'must have' handbook in every library and consulting office.
