Editor/Author Biographies
Rafael Andrés Gonzalez has been assistant professor in the areas of information systems and software engineering at Javeriana University, Bogotá, Colombia, in addition to acting as an IT consultant. He is currently a PhD student in the Technology, Policy and Management Faculty, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. His present research focuses on information systems for supporting coordination in the domain of crisis management. He holds a Systems Engineering degree from Javeriana University and an MSc in computer science from Delft University of Technology.
Nong Chen is a researcher at the Faculty of Technology, Police and Management, Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands. She received a BSc in industrial engineering from the School of Economy and Management, Beijing University of Technology, China. She received an MSc in technical informatics from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science, Delft University of Technology. Her research interests are personalized information seeking and retrieval, system modeling and architecture, crisis response and management, geographic information systems, and location-based services.
Ajantha Dahanayake is an associate professor at Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) and a full professor at Georgia College and State University, GA. She gives lectures on information systems engineering-related topics and was the program chair of the information systems and software systems distance education program at the Open University.
