Editor/Author Biographies
Panagiota Papadopoulou is currently a research associate at the Department of Informatics, University of Athens. She holds a B.Sc (Hons) from the Department of Informatics, University of Athens, an MSc with distinction in Distributed and Multimedia Information Systems from Heriot-Watt University, U.K. and a PhD from the Department of Informatics, University of Athens. She has worked as a visiting professor at the University of Athens, University of Pireaus and the University of Peloponnese. Dr. Papadopoulou has also actively participated in a number of European Community and National research projects. Her current research interests focus on web-based information systems, interface design and online trust.

Panagiotis Kanellis is currently an Executive Director with Ernst & Young in Athens, Greece. Before that he worked for the Greek Government as a program manager and held senior consulting positions with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young. He was educated at Western International University in Business Administration (BSc), at the University of Ulster in Computing and Information Systems (Post-Graduate Diploma), and at Brunel University in Data Communication Systems (MSc) and Information Systems (PhD). He is a research associate in the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and was an adjunct faculty member at the Athens University of Economics and Business having edited books and published more than 60 papers in international journals and conferences. He is a Fellow of the British Computer Society and a Chartered Information Technology Professional (FBCS CITP), a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Scientist (CSci) and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).

Drakoulis Martakos is an Associate Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Electronics and Radio Communications and a PhD in Real-Time Computing from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Professor Martakos is a consultant to public and private organizations and a project leader in numerous national and international projects. He is the author or co-author of more than 70 scientific publications and a number of technical reports and studies. His research interests focus on information systems, internet and web technologies and e-services.
