Library Technology Excellence Award

In accordance with IGI Global’s ongoing mission to promote the effective usage of e-resources available to academic libraries, we are proud to announce the development of the Library Technology Excellence Award. This distinction will be given to honor an individual for their remarkable effort and extraordinary commitment to the utilization and understanding of technological resources within the academic and research communities.

The award and recognition will be announced annually, based on the submission of a 2-3 page document outlining key issues involved in the understanding and promotion of any innovative technological programs or systems that have proven critical to the successful integration, implementation and diffusion of e-resources within the academic library community. In addition to individual and institutional recognition on the LTC and IGI Global web sites, award winners will receive an honorary plaque and the opportunity to publish an academic article featuring best practices and examples of successful transitions from print to electronic resources in one of IGI Global’s premier reference books.
