Abstract

Medical technology has been rapidly growing over the last decades. It is characterized by a constant flow of innovations and a high level of research and development. Many medical and biomedical devices have changed dramatically the way that medicine diagnoses and treats human disease, such as getting three-dimensional images of the internal human body.
