What is Bottleneck

Reshaping Entrepreneurial Education Within an Industry 4.0 Context
A bottleneck refers to a point or stage in a process or system where the flow of materials, information, or resources is slowed down or impeded. It is the narrowest or most constraining part of a system, causing a reduction in the overall efficiency and capacity of that system.

Abstract
In contrast to traditional campus settings, information and communication technology (ICT) enabled pedagogy is what is known as online/web based/e- learning primarily relies on a virtual campus where face-to-face interaction does not occur frequently. Digital technology, primarily the internet or a computer, is used as the primary teaching tool in online learning ecosystem. This book chapter in its endeavour critically analyses push, pull, bottleneck and road ahead of online learning in India at the same time provides recommendations to make e-learning effective and efficient. The book chapter discusses need, opportunity, and present status of online learning in India post covid pandemic era. The chapter concludes that e-learning in India has rapidly grown and transformed the education landscape by providing accessible, flexible, and diverse learning opportunities. While it brings many benefits, there are also challenges to overcome, especially in terms of ensuring equitable access and maintaining educational quality.

General Model for Metrics Calculation and Behavior Prediction in the Manufacturing Industry: An Automated Machine Learning Approach
A bottleneck is a constraint in a manufacturing line where one single station is setting up the pace of the line. A bottleneck station is generally always working around the clock without any idle time. Bottlenecks are meant to be avoided since they hinder the performance of the overall line.

Multiple-Objective Fractional TP with Impurities
The phenomenon by which the performance or capacity of an entire system is limited by a single or limited number of components or resources is bottleneck. The term bottleneck is taken from the 'assets are water' metaphor. As water is poured out of a bottle, the rate of outflow is limited by the width of the conduit of exit—that is, bottleneck. By increasing the width of the bottleneck one can increase the rate at which the water flows out of the neck at different frequencies.
