Abstract
The Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) are critical in managing risk for organizational success. Although these two leaders have distinct focus areas, they must often work together toward safeguarding the organization against various risks, including financial, reputational, and cyber threats. Differing perspectives often lead to less effective risk management. The study explores the significance of advancing the CRO and CISO relationship and provides several steps organizations can take to foster increased understanding.
