Abstract
Violence pervades the lives of people throughout the globe, and it affects us all in some manner. The fear of violence lurks behind closed doors, yet it is a global issue. Minorities are common targets for persecution and discrimination due to their distinct features. As a result of attacks on minority communities around the world, violence is on the rise. Minorities are frequently subjected to violence as a result of daily discrimination. In order to provide a safe haven for minorities where they can maintain their distinct identities while contributing to national development and progress, it begins with a discussion of the growing conceptual consensus around minority empowerment. This chapter establishes a theoretical framework for a comprehensive explanation of systemic human rights violations against minorities around the world, with a particular focus on violence against minorities in India. The goal is also to provide a picture of constitutional provisions and government policies aimed at minorities' social, economic, and educational upliftment.
