publishes original research articles of distance education four issues per year. IJDET is a primary forum for researchers and practitioners to disseminate practical solutions to the automation of open and distance learning. This journal is targeted to academic researchers and engineers who work with distance learning programs and software systems, as well as general participants of distance education.
Reviews and Testimonials
Most societies, enterprises, educational institutions, and others are exceptionally dependent upon communication and computer technologies, especially the Internet. The International Journal of Distance Education Technologies (IJDET) is the only international journal focusing on distance learning and educational areas, including several high-level, well reviewed papers by experts on the field. As a result, IJDET is a leading journal on distance education technologies.

Web-based teaching and learning have modified our educational methods. IJDET presents an overview on the research and cases of study in these fields. It represents a medium for the practitioners on the distance education technology to publish their research and to present their experiences. It is also a good work tool for teachers involved in distance learning projects and virtual campuses.
