The International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering (IJEOE) publishes global research in the areas of energy optimization and engineering. The journal provides relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research findings in the areas of energy systems and hybrid intelligent optimization. This interdisciplinary journal examines and encourages research within energy optimization and engineering fields, including novel meta-heuristics optimization techniques such as fuzzy logic, neural networks, evolutionary algorithms, mathematical programming, pattern search, particle swarm optimization, ant colony optimization, and hybrid optimization in a variety of engineering, science, business, and energy systems of real world practical application problems.

Mission

The goal of the International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering (IJEOE) is to bring together researchers working on the development of innovative and novel original techniques and methodologies to improve the performance of current energy related real world practical problems with modern artificial computational intelligent techniques.  Research areas, including engineering, sciences, and business, have problems developing systems that can deal with uncertainty, unpredictability, and complexity. This interdisciplinary journal fulfills the need for an alternative knowledge and offers real world practical solutions for the unsolved global problems in energy optimization.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

P. Vasant was born in Malaysia (SCOPUS H Index = 13). Currently, he is a Managing Editor of Global Journal of Technology and Optimization as well as Organizing Committee Member of PCO Global conferences. He graduated in 1986 from University of Malaya in Malaysia, obtaining his BSc Degree with Honors (II Class Upper) in Mathematics. In 1988, he obtained a Diploma in English for Business from Cambridge Tutorial College, Cambridge, UK. In 2002, he obtained his MSc (By Research) in Engineering Mathematics from the School of Engineering & Information Technology of University of Malaysia Sabah and has a Doctoral Degree (PhD, 2008) from the University Putra Malaysia. He was a Tutor of Engineering Mathematics at University Science Malaysia with Engineering Campus. From 1996-2003, he was a lecturer in Advanced Calculus and Engineering Mathematics at Mara University of Technology. He was Senior Lecturer of Engineering Mathematics in American Degree Program at Nilai International College, Malaysia, from 2003-2004 before taking his present position at the University Technology Petronas. His main research interests are in the areas of Optimization Methods and Applications to Decision Making and Industrial Engineering, Hybrid Optimization, Computational Intelligence, and Soft Computing. Dr. Vasant has published as co-author more than three hundred research papers in national journals and international journals, book chapters, conference papers, editorials, preface, abstracts, presentation, and conference proceedings. He is an organizing committee member of PCO Global conferences. He is reviewer/referee for international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings since 1998 (Google Scholar: h-index = 12; i10-index =13).
