The International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering (IJEOE) publishes global research in the areas of energy optimization and engineering. This journal provides relevant theoretical frameworks and the latest empirical research findings in the areas of energy systems and hybrid intelligent optimization. Mission

The goal of the International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering (IJEOE) is to bring together researchers working on the development of innovative and novel original techniques and methodologies to improve the performance of current energy related real world practical problems with modern artificial computational intelligent techniques.  Research areas, including engineering, sciences, and business, have problems developing systems that can deal with uncertainty, unpredictability, and complexity. This interdisciplinary journal fulfills the need for an alternative knowledge and offers real world practical solutions for the unsolved global problems in energy optimization.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

Pandian Vasant is a senior lecturer at Department of Fundamental and Applied Sciences, Universiti Teknologi Petronas in Malaysia. His research interests include Soft Computing, Hybrid Optimization, Holistic Optimization and Applications. He has co-authored research papers and articles in national journals, international journals, conference proceedings, conference paper presentation, and special issues lead guest editor, lead guest editor for book chapters’ project, conference abstracts, edited books and book chapters. In the year 2009, Pandian Vasant was awarded top reviewer for the journal Applied Soft Computing (Elsevier). Currently he is Editor-in-Chief of IJCO, IEM, IJSIEC, IJEOE, and Co-Editor of GJTO. H-Index SCOPUS Citation = 30, H-Index Google Scholar Citation = 22.
G.-W. Weber is a Professor at IAM, METU, Ankara, Turkey. His research is on OR, financial mathematics, optimization and control, life sciences, data mining, education and development; he is involved in the organization of scientific life internationally. He received his Diploma and Doctorate in mathematics, and economics / business administration, at RWTH Aachen, and his Habilitation at TU Darmstadt. He held Professorships by proxy at University of Cologne, and TU Chemnitz, Germany. At IAM, he is in the programs of Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences and Scientific Computing and Assistant to the Director, and he is a member of four further graduate schools, institutes and departments of METU. Further, he has affiliations at the universities of Siegen, Ballarat, Aveiro, North Sumatra, and Malaysia University of Technology, and he is “Advisor to EURO Conferences”.
Dieu Ngoc Vo received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam in 1995 and 2000, respectively and his D.Eng. degree in Electric Power System Management from Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Pathumthani, Thailand in 2007. He is currently Research Associate at Energy Field of Study, AIT and head of Department of Power Systems, Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. His interests are applications of AI in power system optimization, power system operation and control, power system analysis, and power systems under deregulation.
