Mission and Scope

The primary mission of the International Journal of Grid and High Performance Computing (IJGHPC) is to provide an international forum for the dissemination and development of theory and practice in grid and cloud computing. IJGHPC publishes refereed and original research papers and welcomes contributions on current trends, new issues, tools, societal impact, and directions for future research in the areas of grid and cloud computing. This journal is targeted at both academic researchers and practicing IT professionals.

Editor(s)-in-Chief Biography

Ching-Hsien (Robert) Hsu is a professor in department of computer science and information engineering at Chung Hua University, Taiwan; and distinguished chair professor at Tianjin University of Technology, China. His research includes high performance computing, cloud computing, parallel and distributed systems, big data analytics, ubiquitous/pervasive computing and intelligence. He has published 200 papers in top journals such as IEEE TPDS, IEEE TSC, ACM TOMM, IEEE TCC, IEEE TETC, IEEE System, IEEE Network, Information Sciences, FGCS, conference proceedings, and book chapters in these areas; and has been acting as an author/co-author or an editor/co-editor of 10 books from Springer, IGI Global, World Scientific and McGraw-Hill. He has also edited a number of special issues at top journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, IEEE System Journal, Future Generation Computer Systems, Journal of Supercomputing, International Journal of Communication Systems, Automated Software Engineering, Journal of System Architecture, Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience, The Knowledge Engineering Review, Internet Research, Information System Frontiers, etc. Prof. Hsu was awarded nine times distinguished award for excellence in research and annual outstanding research award through 2005 to 2016 from Chung Hua University. He has been serving as executive committee and standing director of Taiwan Association of Cloud Computing (TACC) from 2008-2016; executive committee of the IEEE Technical Committee of Scalable Computing during 2008-2012; executive committee of IEEE STC on Cloud Computing(2012-present); He is elected member of the Phi Tau Phi Scholastic honor society; IEEE senior member; vice chair of IEEE TCSC and executive chair of IEEE Cloud.
Emmanuel Udoh is currently Dean and Professor, College of Information and Computer Technology, Sullivan University, USA. Prior to his current position, Dr. Udoh was the Chair/Director of the IT Department at National College and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. Dr. Udoh holds two doctoral degrees, one in Information Technology from Capella University and one in Geology from Erlangen University in Germany. He also holds an MBA from Capella, an MS in Computer Science from Troy University in Alabama, an MS in Geology from Muenster University in Germany and a BS in Geology from the University of Ife (OAU) in Nigeria. Dr. Udoh is the author of six books and numerous peer-reviewed articles in IT. Dr. Udoh has been listed in American Marquis Who’s Who in the World (1993-1994).
Mohammad Khan is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Sullivan University. He received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from the University of Louisville, Kentucky, USA, in 2011 and 2013, respectively. His primary area of research is in ad-hoc networks and network tomography. His other research interests are in the field of mobile wireless mesh network and sensor network, statistical modeling, ODE, wavelets, and ring theory. He currently serves on the Editorial Boards of the International Journal of Computer Networks and Communications and the International Journal of Wireless and Mobile Networks. He has been on technical program committees of various international conferences and technical reviewer of various international journals in his field. He is member of IEEE.
