on Thursday, December 11, 2008 and discussed new ideas,
research, and reflections in the potential of games and
simulations to improve teaching and learning. University
of Florida professor Dr. Rick Ferdig also spoke about the
release of his upcoming e-gaming journal, the International Journal of Gaming and
Computer-Mediated Simulations, and touched on
his latest publication, the Handbook of Research on Effective Electronic
Gaming in Education
