IGI Global author Connie Crosby, Knowledge Management and Information Management consultant, was asked to be a featured speaker at the upcoming KMWorld 2014 in Washington, DC. Held from November 4-7, 2014, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, KMWorld 2014 offers a wide-ranging program especially focused to meet the needs of executives and strategic business and technology decision makers. This conference is a must-attend event for those concerned with improving their organization’s bottom line, business processes and productivity, as well as streamlining operations and accelerating development and innovation in their evolving enterprises.
IGI Global Author Connie Crosby To Speak At KMWorld 2014
Connie Crosby, author of the "Communities in the Workplace" and "Getting Started With Social Media for Knowledge Management", chapters in Knowledge Management Practice in Organizations: The View From Inside, will be speaking on the panel "Change Strategies & Experiences" on Thursday, November 6 at 4:15 pm. The session looks at change in three organizations: a public sector department working towards a knowledge-sharing culture; organizational learning and challenging the status quo inside a managing consulting company; and the implementation of SharePoint in an insurance company to facilitate workflows, learning and communication.

Join Crosby after Thursday's session in the KMWorld bookstore for a book signing. You can also meet her on Friday, November 7 when she moderates Track C: Trends in the Evolving Knowledge World.
