Professor Constantin Zopounidis Elected to the Executive Committee of the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making

IGI Global Editor Travels To MyanmarProfessor Constantin Zopounidis, IGI Global Editor, author, and esteemed academician was elected to the Executive Committee of the International Society on Multiple Criteria Decision Making, following a vote in which a board of 677 members participated from around the world. The purposes of the Society are to develop, test, evaluate and apply methodologies for solving multiple criteria decision making problems, to foster interaction and research in the scientific field of multiple criteria decision making, and to cooperate with other organizations in the study of management from a quantitative perspective. This Society brings together 2200 people from 100 countries. The term of office shall be for four years from 2015 to 2019. Professor C. Zopounidis was also honored by the same Society with Edgeworth - Pareto Award in 2013.

  • Encouraging an environment of international colleagueship and friendship across the globe
