Dr. Simon Harding to Present at 2016 Annual American Society of Criminology Meeting

Common Core Mathematics Standards and Implementing Digital Technologies IGI Global editor Dr. Simon Harding will be presenting at the upcoming 2016 American Society of Criminology Meeting in New Orleans. The American Society of Criminology is an international organization whose members pursue scholarly, scientific, and professional knowledge concerning the measurement, etiology, consequences, prevention, control, and treatment of crime and delinquency. This year's meeting will be held from November 16 - 19 in New Orleans, Louisiana, US, featuring the theme "The Many Colors of Crime & Justice."

Dr. Harding's presentation is titled after his book Global Perspectives on Youth Gang Behavior Violence, and Weapon Use, a remarkable reference source which reconsiders the traditional understandings of youth violence in various forms, such as gang activities, criminal behavior, and weapons use. Focusing on the psychosocial elements of violence among children, teenagers, and young adults, this timely publication is ideally designed for use by policy makers and government executives, professionals, educators, and graduate-level students involved in psychology, criminology, social work, and criminal justice studies.
