Introduction

Convergence in the ICT sector has resulted in the evolution in media delivery. This emergence of the New Media has both academic and practical implications. From the academic stand point, the New Media extends the possibility by which the Media Richness Theory can be researched into. From the practical point of view, this evolution has created new opportunities by which knowledge is created, organized, shared and applied in organizations, between organizations, between Government and society and inter-governmental institutions. As a result of this evolution, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 tools are now used by various institutions to share and transfer knowledge. These platforms have either complemented or replaced traditional tools for knowledge management. These platforms have enabled organizations to maintain competitive advantage as well as facilitate innovation. this evolution has opened the door for research on case studies and practices involving current forms of knowledge management in types of organization and context.

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit on or before June 20, 2016, a chapter proposal of 1,000 to 2,000 words clearly explaining the mission and concerns of his or her proposed chapter. Authors will be notified by by June 28, 2016 about the status of their proposals and sent chapter guidelines. Full chapters are expected to be submitted by October 15, 2016. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for this project.All interested authors must consult the guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/publish/contributor-resources/before-you-write/ prior to submission.


Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted to this book publication, Trust in Knowledge Management and Systems in Organizations. All manuscripts are accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.
