Lynn  Wilson
Lynn Wilson is executive director of SeaTrust Institute, and principal for the consulting firm OSSIA which facilitates collaborative and strategic processes. She regularly presents at international conferences on environmental, public policy and social issues. Recent presentations: plenary at Littoral 2004 in Aberdeen, Scotland; 2007 Amsterdam Conference on the Human Dimensions of Global Environmental Change; 2008 International Symposium on Society and Resource Management. Lynn delivers online courses through regional colleges and nonprofit programs and conducts webinars. She has extensive experience as a policy analyst, legislative advisor, science writer and strategic business consultant. Lynn holds a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies: Public Policy/Administration from the Union Institute & University, Masters in Journalism with honors from Central State University, BA and graduate study from the University of Oklahoma. Her work appears in Delivering Sustainable Coasts; Connecting Science and Policy (2004), numerous legislative and policy reports, scientific articles in technical and trade publications and business processes guides through ICG’s Technical Publication Series. Lynn serves on advisory and review boards for education, science and the environment including the 2006 NSTC Joint Subcommittee on Science and Technology publication Charting the Course for Ocean Science in the Unites States: Research Priorities for the Next Decade.
