IGI 60-Day Book Examination Copy Request
Although IGI Global publications are not typical college textbooks, from time to time some of our colleagues teaching upper division or graduate courses find our titles to be suitable for course adoption.
IGI Global is pleased to offer a 60-day examination period after the examination copy request is properly submitted and approved.
Student Pricing
IGI Global also offers special student pricing should an IGI Global publication be adopted for a course. Students can now purchase IGI Global publications at a 40% discount.
When a college or university bookstore orders 10 or more copies of an adopted publication directly from IGI Global; the base price of the publication will be 40% off of the list price. We will also extend an additional 20% discount to the bookstore as long as they agree not to mark the price up by more than 20%.
Example:
List Price: US $180.00
Bookstore Price: US $86.40 (40% student discount plus additional 20% off)
Student Price: US $108.00 (40% off of the List Price)
IGI Global’s Examination Copy Policy
IGI Global offers a 60-day examination copy policy to professors who wish to consider an IGI Global publication for course adoption. IGI Global will invoice the individual for each book at a 30% discount at the time the book is requested. The invoice will be canceled upon adoption of the book for a course of at least 10 students, and the book may be kept as a desk copy. If the professor decides not to adopt the book, he/she may return it in saleable condition along with the invoice with no obligation, or keep the book and pay the invoice at the 30% discount price.
Please Note:
(1) Conference Proceedings, Encyclopedias, Handbooks of Research, and Multi-volume Collections will NOT be processed as examination copies.
(2) IGI Global books are distributed by different agencies outside the United States of America. Because of contract restrictions with these wholesalers, IGI Global CANNOT process examination copy requests outside the United States. This includes Canada and Mexico.
