Anjana

Anjana (Ph.D), working at Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India has the professional experience of more than a decade in Open and Distance Education System. Her academic qualifications include Doctorate in Botany (Plant Physiology) and Masters of Science in Environmental Botany and Master of Arts in Distance Education. She is the Gold Medalist at Masters’ Degree level and Merit holder at Bachelors’ Degree level and also Postgraduate merit scholarship awardee. She has been the Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow as well as Research Associate of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (India), a premier National Research and Development organization.

With more than 20 research papers and review articles published in journals of national and international repute as well as many book chapters, she has 3 books to her credit. She has participated and presented research papers in various national and international conferences, symposia and webinars. She has been the resource person for various workshops and professional development programmes organized by Teaching Learning Centres for teachers and academics. Her areas of interest include Technology-Enabled Learning, Open and Distance Learning, Inclusive Education, Technology integration in distance learning, etc.
