In her credits so far, nine scholars were awarded Ph.D and other two pursuing their research in interdisciplinary approach. She has presented several research findings in the national and international conferences. Being a continuous researcher, she was sanctioned a research project entitled “Isolation and characterization of bioactive molecules from marine organisms” by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi during the year 2006-09. Again, for the year, 2013-16, she had received a DST project entitled “Design, synthesis and evaluation of novel COX-2 inhibitors of dibromotyrosine derivatives as anti-inflammatory drugs”. She is also a co-investigator for a UGC sponsored project. She has been advisor of student forum called MANANM since 2011. Manam forum is a group of students organized for the purpose furthering their common interests in an activity through participation and competition.
