About Us

Abayomi Moradeyo Otebolaku

Dr Abayomi Otebolaku received his Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering (Electrical and Computer Engineering) from Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto, specializing in Mobile Computing and Context-Aware Personalization. Presently, he is with the Department of Computer Science, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU), United Kingdom. Prior to joining LJMU, Dr Otebolaku was a Senior Researcher in the Department of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, University of Aveiro, where he participated in high-impact European research projects. For over 6 years, he was a research engineer at the Center for Telecommunications and Multimedia, INESC TEC, Portugal, where he executed research work in context awareness, context-based mobile multimedia personalization and context-aware user preferences. He also acquired experience working in the industry. He has broad and extensive technical knowledge in mobile and context-aware computing. His contributions have been published in high-impact journals, book chapters, and reputable thematic conference proceedings. His research interests include among others context-aware computing, mobile sensing, Internet of Things and context–aware personalization.
