Adam Salifu

Adam Salifu holds a PhD in Development Studies from Western Sydney University, Australia. Currently, he is a Research Fellow at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. His research interests span a wide range of aspects of the sociology, economics, and politics of development including rural and agricultural transformation, food security, corruption, poverty reduction and social protection. He possesses over 10 years of experience as a consultant to both international and local NGOs in Ghana such as the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI), Overseas Development Institute (ODI), International Labour Organization (ILO), DAI, UNICEF, Ghana Education Service (GES), Plan Ghana and the Accra-based Institute for Democratic Governance (IDEG). Dr. Adam Salifu has published more than 10 research reports, journal articles and book chapters.
