Agostino Poggi

Agostino Poggi is full professor of Computer Engineering at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Parma. His research focuses on agent, Web and object-oriented technologies and their use to develop distributed and complex systems. He is author of more than two hundreds of technical papers in international scientific journals, books and refereed conference proceedings, and his scientific contribution has been recognized through the "System Research Foundation Outstanding Scholarly Contribution Award" in 1988 and through the "Innovation System Award" in 2001. He is currently in the editorial board of the following scientific journals: : International Journal of Agent-Oriented Software Engineering, International Journal of Hybrid Intelligent Systems, International Journal of Multiagent and Grid Systems, Open Software Engineering Journal and Software Practice & Experience.
