Ahmed Hosny Saleh Metwally

Ahmed Hosny Saleh Metwally is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Helwan University and a Visiting Researcher at the HCI Games Group, University of Waterloo. He obtained his Ph.D. from Northeast Normal University. His research focuses on gamification, gamified learning assignments, learning analytics, human-computer interaction, instructional design, artificial intelligence, the metaverse, and digital learning resources. Additionally, he serves as an Academic Editor for PLOS ONE and as an Editorial Board Member for the Educational Technology & Society journal. He is also a reviewer for numerous international SSCI journals, including Educational Technology & Society (ET&S), Computers & Education, The International Review of Research in Open and Distance Learning (IRRODL), and IEEE Access.
