Alexandra Santamaría Urbieta holds a PhD on Tourist Translation from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and currently works as a teacher and researcher at the University of Alcalá (Spain). She has a degree in Translation and Interpreting by the University of the Basque Country and her facet as a translator has led her to teach specialized translations subjects in several national and international universities.
