Alexandre de Barros

Alexandre de Barros is a Civil Engineering by the Campinas State University (1991), Master in Transportation and Operations Research by the Technology INstitute of Aeronautics ITA (1994), and Doctor in Transportation Engineering by the University of Calgary (2001). Currently he is Director of the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency and (Licensed) Lecturer of Transportation Engineering at the University of Calgary, and member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Advanced Transportation. He has experience in the Transportation Engineering Field, with emphasis in airports, air transportation system planning, and intelligent air transportation systems, having participated in several internation airport projects, such as Toronto/Pearson, Montreal/Trudeau, Atlanda, New York/JFK, Seattle/Tacoma, Boston/LOgan, Leeds(UK), Hong Kong and Seoul/Incheon.
