Alexandros Xafopoulos

Alexandros Xafopoulos+Mr Alexandros Xafopoulos, BSc, BTh is a graduating Education and Technology MA student at The UCL Institute of Education (IOE) in London, UK. He is a Private University and Adult Tutor in Computer Programming and Mathematics face-to-face in London and online. He holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a BSc (1st) Computer Science and a BTh (1st) Theology. He worked as a researcher-programmer in 2 EU-funded R&D projects at the Artificial Intelligence and Information Analysis (AIIA) laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh). He was an academic assistant at the School of Informatics of AUTh and a visiting researcher at the Tampere International Center for Signal Processing (TICSP) in Finland. His portfolio includes 8 peer-reviewed publications, 1 book chapter, 1 encyclopedia article, 2 journal and 4 conference papers, 4 conference presentations, as well as 2 academic seminar talks. His research interests lie in the areas of E-Learning, Learning Analytics, Structural Equation Modelling, and Computer Supported Collaborative Learning.
