Bhawna Chopra

Bhawna Chopra is a distinguished academician and accomplished researcher in the field of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She has made significant contributions to the field, with a strong focus on exploring the therapeutic and health-promoting potential of natural compounds. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, affiliated with Kurukshetra University, followed by a Master's degree in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from ISF College of Pharmacy, affiliated with Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. She completed her Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences from IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. She has received honors from various academic bodies, including the Silver Medal in M. Pharmacy and a Gold Medal during B. Pharmacy from Punjab Technical University and Kurukshetra University, respectively. Dr. Chopra's professional journey is marked by her dedication to education and research. She is a Professor in Guru Gobind Singh college of Pharmacy. She has total 15+ years of experience in teaching. Her teaching and research have earned her recognition, including the Women Pharma Personality Award during the National Pharma Summit 2022 in New Delhi, India. She is also an Editorial/Review Board member of various reputed National/International Journals and has been recognized as the Highest Cited Researcher by Elsevier Publishers (Fitoterapia). Dr. Chopra's research contributions have garnered global recognition. She has been invited to serve as a Bentham Ambassador by Bentham Science Publishers. Dr. Chopra's professional achievements extend beyond the classroom and laboratory. She has been an active member of professional organizations such as APTI, ISTE, and SPER. She also has patents and copyrights to her credit.
