Bintang Handayani has served as the head of undergraduate study programme at Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata Bali International, Indonesia; where she also has served as a Senior Researcher. Her research focuses on Branding in Tourism and Hospitality; Technology Mediated-Communication in Tourism and Hospitality; Special Interest Tourism; Media-related Tourism, and Personification of a nation.
