Brychan Thomas

Brychan Thomas is a Visiting Professor in Innovation Policy at the University of South Wales, a Doctoral Supervisor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Gloucestershire, and an Examiner for the International Baccalaureate Business and Management Diploma. He has a Science degree and an MSc in the Social Aspects of Science and Technology from Aston University and a PhD in Science and Technology Policy, CNAA, London. Before retiring in October 2012, he was Reader in Innovation Policy at the University of Glamorgan Business School. He has over 390 publications in the areas of science communication, entrepreneurship and innovation and small business - including 134 refereed journal articles and 130 refereed conference papers. His books include Triple Entrepreneurial Connection: College, Government and Industry (2000), E-Commerce Adoption and Small Business in the Global Marketplace: Tools for Optimization (2010, co-editor), Innovation and Small Business, Volumes 1 and 2 (2011, co-editor), author of Technology-Based Entrepreneurship (2013), and co-editor of Academic Working Lives: Experience, Practice and Change (hardback 2014, paperback 2015).
