D. ChatterjeeProf. Dr. Dipak Chatterjee, Vice Chancellor, Seacom Skills University is an, educationalist, social worker and Mathematician. He has several qualifications and achievements in his credit. He worked more than thirty years in one of the reputed colleges of the country, viz., St Xavier’s College, Kolkata (St. Xaviers University). He holds M.Sc., Ph.D. degrees beside post doctoral qualification from the Technical University of Vienna, Previously he worked as Principal in one of the most reputed Engineering institutes of the country i.e. IEM, Salt Lake. He has contributed more than 250 research papers in the peer reviewed, referred national as well as international journals, UGC/AICTE/IEEE sponsored national and international conferences, seminar proceedings. He has worked in diverse fields ranging from Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Science & Technology to Philosophy, Indian Literature, Moral Studies etc. He has written nearly 30 books, almost all published by International publishers of repute. He attended more than two hundred seminars and knowledge sessions. He has been honoured as Distinguished Professor by St Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Best Educationalist Award by Indian Solidarity Council, New Delhi. He has received several international awards from different bodies in different capacity.
