Debra Sharon Ferdinand-James

Debra Sharon Ferdinand-JamesDebra Ferdinand-James is an educational technologist (Lecturer Level) and a blended learning champion at the University of the West-Indies. She received her doctorate in workforce education and development while working in distance education for six years in the areas of online course design and development, faculty online training and support, and online helpdesk enquires. Her research interests include curriculum inclusiveness, blended learning, academic support, mixed methods, and international collaboration with researchers and professors at the University of Naples, Italy as a member of their Industry 4.0 Task Force for developing joint publications on Industry 4.0. She presents and publishes widely in these areas at local, regional, and international conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
