Denis Yannacopoulos

Denis Yannacopoulos is Professor of Management Information Systems in the Business Administration Department of the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences. He holds a BSc in Chemistry, a MSc and a PhD in Information Systems. His research interests are in Operational Research, Multicriteria Analysis and Decision Support Systems. His expertise in training issues and EU projects is utilized by the Ministry of Employment and Education and he has been a consultant of numerous public and private organisations in Greece and Cyprus. He is an active member of editorial boards and a referee of many scientific journals. He was Dean of the Administration and Economy School of the TEI of Piraeus from 2006 to 2010 and 2014 to 2016 and also President of the Hellenic Operational Research Society (HELORS) from 2005 to 2009.
