Ebru Gökalp

Ebru Gökalp is a prominent researcher and practitioner with expertise in informatics, management information systems, software engineering, and digital transformation. She has made significant contributions to collaborative projects between industry and academia, focusing on digital transformation, software quality evaluation, business process management, and the elicitation of system and software requirements. Her proficiency in model-based assessments and process improvements sets her apart in her field. From 2016 to 2018, Dr. Gökalp served as a principal researcher and digital transformation specialist at TUBITAK’s BILGEM Software Technologies Research Institute. She subsequently held faculty positions at Başkent University and acted as an adjunct faculty member at the Informatics Institute of Middle East Technical University. Additionally, she conducted research at the University of Cambridge from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Dr. Gökalp is an Associate Professor at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Process Management, Digital Transformation, Software Quality Management, Capability Maturity Models, and Industry 4.0, all of which drive innovation in these essential domains.
