Eduardo Correia

Eduardo CorreiaEduardo Correia is a senior lecturer in the Department of Computing at the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology (CPIT) in Christchurch, New Zealand. He worked for a number of years as a systems administrator and consultant, and his professional interests include virtualization and cloud technologies. In 2003, with a colleague, he designed and implemented TechLabs, a network based on virtualization used by the Department of Computing at CPIT for teaching. Dr Correia currently teaches courses in operating systems, networking, and cloud technologies, and besides academic qualifications holds a number of industry certifications, including the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), the Microsoft Systems Engineer (MCSE), and the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (Enterprise Administration) (MCITP).
