Elspeth McKay

Dr. Elspeth McKay has a mix of experience that involves 2 decades as a business sector trainer, university lecturer, and full-time researcher of online learning and interactive courseware development. Her research projects involve the design and development of interactive e-Learning systems. Her work concentrates on seeking out innovative ways to enhance opportunities for the special requirements of vocational rehabilitation for disabled members of the community. Dr. McKay’s research themes include cognitive performance measurement for assessing readiness for returning to study/retraining that create effective instructional strategies for life-long learning. Her enthusiasm for including the richness of the human-dimension within an information and communications technology (ICT) framework, continues to promote effective use of human computer interaction (HCI) in an educational/corporate training context.
