Gary Wong

Gary Wong is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at HKU. He is currently interested in computational thinking for children, computer-mediated reality for education and integrated learning in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. He has already published more than 45 book chapters, journal articles and conference proceedings in these areas. Dr. Wong earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics (Double Major) from Brigham Young University Hawaii, Master of Philosophy in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and PhD in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong. He also received a Master of Education in Learning Design and Leadership from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and Master of Law in Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law from University of Hong Kong. He is currently the Chair of IEEE Hong Kong Section (Education Chapter) since 2014.
