Gulnara Abdrakhmanova

Gulnara AbdrakhmanovaDr. Gulnara Abdrakhmanova is head of the Centre for Statistics and Monitoring of Information Society at the Institute for Statistical Studies and Economics of Knowledge (ISSEK), the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE). Dr. Abdrakhmanova has extensive experience in studies in statistics, socio-economic analyses, benchmarking, related to Information Society and Digital Economy. She authored or co-authored more than 50 publications in the field of statistics and Foresight of ICT development. During her career, Dr. Abdrakhmanova participated in several relevant projects on ICT statistics as manager, team leader, task leader and senior expert. She is a member of the Eurostat Working Group on Information Society Statistics (ISS), the OECD Working Party on Measurement and Analysis of the Digital Economy (WPMADE/WPIIS), the ITU Expert Group on Telecom/ICT Indicators, the ITU Expert Group on ICT Household Indicators. Dr. Abdrakhmanova holds PhD in Economics.
