Heesop Kim

Heesop Kim is a professor in the Department of Library and Information Science at Kyungpook National University, Korea. He earned his BA and MA in library and information science from the same university where he is currently working at, his MPhil degree in information school from Sheffield University, England, and his PhD in computing and information sciences from Northumbria University, England. Before he joined Kyungpook National University in 2003, he has been worked as a senior researcher at ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute), Korea, for about 13 years. His teaching and research interests include the use of information technology in library and information science, particularly in the areas of digital libraries, user interface, and information retrieval.
