Hong Cai

Hong Cai has been a senior software engineer at IBM China Software Development Lab (IBM CDL) since 2008. He is the technical lead of Cloud/SaaS incubation projects in IBM CDL. His current research areas include Commerce as a Service, SaaS multi-tenancy, Cloud Platform as a Service. Before that, he worked at IBM China Research Lab from 1997-2008 as technical lead of various projects. He was IBM China’s technical lead of promoting Service Science, Management, and Engineering from 2005-2007. Dr. Cai received his PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 1997. He is currently Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Services Computing, and Editorial Review Board Member of the International Journal of Web Services Research.
