Ilias P. Tatsiopoulos

I. P. Tatsiopoulos is a Professor in Production Planning and Control and Manufacturing Information Systems in SIMOR/NTUA. He holds a Degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with emphasis in industrial engineering from NTU Athens (1978) and a Ph.D. in Operations Management and O.R. from the University of Lancaster, England (1983). He has served as editor of various scientific journals, head of SIMOR, governmental committees and institutions, as long as coordinator of several national and EU funded projects. Among his varied academic interests, he recently focuses on strategic competitive management, computer-aided production management, logistics and the design and implementation of knowledge management systems.
