Ioanna Thomopoulou

Ioanna Thomopoulou is Teacher of Primary Education in Athens, Research Associate and PhD Candidate in Education Administration at the University of Peloponnese. She received her BSc. and MSc. from National University of Athens (UOA). She was fellow of the Laboratory “Biophysical Environment: Neurosciences & Learning” of the National University of Athens (UOA) with main responsibilities her participation in research projects, the project management of postgraduate program “Sociobiology, Neurosciences & Education” and the organization and conferences secretarial support. Mrs. Thomopoulou published in 2012 a book titled “School Management, with emphasis on quality” while in 2013 – 2014 she participated in the creation of a cognitive tool titled ‘Scientific information in the management of schools’.The tool was designed to provide schools with specialized education and training in management science” and was published from the Laboratory of “Organization and management of services and quality of life” at the University of Peloponnese. Her research interests include Deming Theory, School Management, Education Leadership and Teacher Empowerment.
