Jennifer Lynne Bird

Dr. Jennifer Bird teaches reading and writing classes for current and future teachers at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education in Secondary English Education, Master of Education in Secondary English Education, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and her health coach certification from Duke University Integrative Medicine in Durham, North Carolina. Her research in writing and healing led to the publication of her book Innovative Collaborative Practice and Reflection in Patient Education (2015).
