Jose Rodellar

José Rodellar, born in 1954 in Spain, is Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics III, where he has Director in the period 2007-2013, in the School of Civil Engineering and the School of Industrial Engineering of the Technical University of Catalonia (Barcelona, Spain). His research interests include control systems, from theory to applications, including passive/semi-active/active control of structures and structural health monitoring using statistical methods. The outcomes of his research are summarized in three books, over 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and over 200 presentations in the major international conferences on the above research topics. He has been principal investigator of 25 funded research projects and has supervised 20 PhD Thesis. From 2012, he is the President of the International Association for Structural Control and Monitoring.
