Joseph Fong

Joseph Fong is an editorial board member of International Journal of Web Information Systems. He is a fellow of Hong Kong Computer Society, the founder chairman of the [ Hong Kong Computer Society Database Special Interest Group], and the honorable founder chairman of [Hong Kong Web Society], and International Hybrid Learning Society. Fong had worked in the electronic data processing in US for 11 years, and came back to Hong Kong as an academician since 1988. His research interests are in database, data warehousing, data mining XML and Web-Based Learning. His above 100 publications include SCI Journals, Conferences, Patent (US), edited books, and an authored text book on "Information Systems Reengineering and Integration" 2nd edition by Springer in 2006. He had been a program manager of a M.Sc. of Staffordshire University hosted at City University of Hong Kong for a decade and teaches [Data warehousing and data mining], [ Data Engineering], [Database Systems ] and [Introduction to Database Systems ]including XML technology.
